How Genius Islamic Montessori Is Different?

Our teachers believe that if a child is properly guided to enjoy learning up to age six, he not only becomes at ease with himself and his surroundings but also continues to be confident and curious throughout the school years. A great myth surrounding the Montessori method is that it is unusually strict or boring or is based on bizarre principles, when in fact the method demonstrates that the simplest and most natural principles of all will lead to the happiest and well-adjusted young students. Rather than completely unstructured play or a totally controlled environment with a teacher and silent, listening students, Montessori schools strike a balance in which children are the most comfortable. Reading Practice at Home

Reading is such a crucial skill for future academic success, so supporting reading at home is very important. Here are great reading skills to practice at home! 1. Match 2 or 3 of the same letters, words, numbers, in a magazine, with flashcards, etc. 2. Rhyme items in your kitchen, living room, etc. rug-bug, dug, hug, jug, lug, mug, pug, tug 3. Create a 2-line rhyme (or more) of your name, love/hate of something, anything!! 4. Create a reading challenge -here’s an idea for a reading challenge and there are more book suggestions for K-1, 2-3, 4-5 5. Make a word collage on paper with words from cut out magazines, words you wrote, stickers, etc. 6. Sing words to songs!  Here’s a great website with words to some songs. 7. Make a name acrostic and sound and spell out all of the words that describe your child. 8. 🐄🐑 [QURBAN FOR PALESTINE PROGRAMME 2021] 🐄🐑 Qurban is indeed a blessed act of charity and the purpose of charity is nothing but to seek Allah's pleasure. Thus, Genius Islamic Montessori has been carrying out this significant and meaningful ibadah as one of our annual signature events. Due to the restrictions in place during this pandemic, our Qurban this year will be a special offering for the benefit of our brothers and sisters in the besieged state of Gaza, Palestine.  We will be cooperating with Aman Palestine Malaysia, which has an office in Gaza itself.
